Buddy Woodward

Americana music veteran Buddy Woodward is an award-winning songwriter, singer, band leader, multi-instrumentalist, producer, side man, studio musician and teacher, with over 25 years experience as a touring and recording professional, with several albums to his credit, and Top 10 hits on Bluegrass and Americana radio.

He was a founding member of seminal 90’s alt.country whiz kids The Ghost Rockets, and NYC honky-tonkers Buddy Woodward and the Nitro Express. In 2003 Buddy founded progressive bluegrass band The Dixie Bee-Liners, who released two hit albums on Pinecastle Records, and toured nationally and internationally. Buddy was a featured performer in the long-running Alphabet City Opry, as well as having played and/or recorded with Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Laura Cantrell, Hayes Carll, Jim Lauderdale, James Reams & the Barnstormers, American Road, Eric Brace & Peter Cooper, John Starling, The Coal Porters, The Know Escape, Pete Mancini, Smalltown Parade, Rick Clark, and Butchers Blind, among many others.
