Airlock Wireless GT Power and Battery Life

Power and Battery Life

Power

Slide the power switch to power on each device. When they are both powered on, the TX and RX should immediately pair and begin streaming audio.

Sleep

If you leave the power on and there is no audio for 15 minutes, AirLock enters a power-saving Sleep mode and flashes the red Pair light every 5 seconds. Play audio and the system wakes from Sleep mode. You can also simply flip the power switch off and on again.

Charge Up

Before you start playing, be sure to connect the TX and RX to a USB power supply (sold separately) using the included Y-charge cable or the single USB data cable.

The receiver and transmitter are designed to charge quickly and can offer up to 2 hours of play time after only a 5 minute charge. Note that while charging, they can still be used normally.

Battery Life

You can expect 9 to 10 hours of play time from the AirLock wireless set. With Sleep mode, you may find the battery lasts much longer than that.

And here’s a cool option – the receiver accepts standard pedalboard power plugs, so you can connect it to your pedalboard and basically never have to worry about charging it again. And since it’s so compact, it won’t take up the space of a stompbox.

RIP. Unlike most of the other rechargeable wireless systems out there, you can be reassured that when that battery reaches the end of its life – and it will – you can order a replacement set from Fishman and protect your investment for years to come
