Michael Montoya, professionally known as Morgoth Beatz, is a platinum-certified producer, guitarist, and musical visionary whose work spans metal, hip hop, and alternative genres. With a unique ability to fuse crushing heaviness with emotional depth and modern production, Morgoth has left his mark across a wide spectrum of music.

He has produced for a diverse array of top-tier artists including Juice WRLD, Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), Kid Cudi, Ice Nine Kills, Suicide Silence, and Polyphia—contributing to projects that have gone platinum and received Grammy nominations.

In addition to his production work, Michael is a seasoned guitarist, performing with the deathcore heavyweight Winds of Plague and as a founding member of Seven Hours After Violet, a genre-bending supergroup featuring Shavo Odadjian of System of a Down.
