Airlock Wireless GT – The Nerdy Details

Audio Quality that rivals recording gear

At Fishman, audio reproduction and amplification is our specialty. It’s in our DNA and we wouldn’t pursue cutting the cable unless it meant we could reproduce audio quality as good as – and sometimes even better than – the ubiquitous guitar cable. Once we finally had a wireless set that could deliver, we ran with it and called it AirLock. We think it would be easier for you to grab a set and check it for yourself. Until then, here’s some tech specs for you.

118dB Dynamic Range

We designed it to work with the highest gain electric guitar amplifiers out there with rarely the need for a noise gate. That wasn’t an easy task. Even if you’re not a high-gain player, this level of dynamic response in a wireless set has been nearly unachievable in the past and you’ll notice it from your subtle finger picking to the lightest tough of your bow.

20 to 20k Hz Frequency Response

You’ve heard this before. You should hear it through AirLock.

24-bits

Analog-to-Digital and back again. State of the art. We added 32-bit internal processing just to make it even more pristine. Even the USB digital audio output is 24-bit, Class-Compliant which means you don’t need no stinkin’ drivers.
