SETTING LEVELS

Unlike conventional guitar stompboxes, AFX Pro EQ Mini features an analog preamp that provides up to 20dB of quality gain and impedance matching for most passive, active, and magnetic acoustic instrument pickups. Due to the variety of instruments and pickups available, it’s a good habit to set your preamp level using the Trim knob to achieve the best sound with the lowest noise.

• Start with the Trim knob at minimum.
• Plug in and play fairly aggressively. Turn up the Trim knob until you see the LED start to flash orange, then back it down just until the flashing stops.

Some pickup systems may not cause the LED to flash and others may require you to turn their output down.
