Accept

Martin Motnik is a German-born studio and session bass guitarist. He’s a versatile electric, acoustic, and upright bass player, a pioneer in online music recording, and has toured and performed with Uli Jon Roth (The Scorpions), Missing Persons, and German Sony-artist Eisbrecher. Now based in Nashville, TN, Motnik has played over 5,000 shows on 5 continents and as a studio bassist on over 1,000 recordings.

He’s gained notoriety as a solo performer with his solo album “Bass Invader” with drum icon Gregg Bissonette, and his works as a freelance bass player and studio musician through his website http://www.studiobassist.com.

Since 2019 Martin is also a full-time member of German Heavy Metal Pioneers ACCEPT who’ve been long-time Fluence users, providing that razor-sharp metal sound.

Motnik has recently released his second solo album “Dream Chaser”, featuring some of his musical influences such as Joe Satriani, Frank Gambale, Bruce Kulick, Jennifer Batten, Gregg Bissonette, Derek Sherinian, and others. He uses Sadowsky basses, Ritter Instruments, Gallien-Krueger amps, Gator Cases, and – of course – Fishman Fluence pickups.
