Guster
Adam Gardner - vocals & guitar Brian Rosenworcel - percussion Ryan Miller - vocals & guitar
The members of Guster met in 1992 at Tufts University in Boston. The trio, comprised of two acoustic guitars and percussion, attracted a dedicated live following in the Boston area. In April of 1994 Guster released Parachute on Aware Records. The surprising commercial success of this album and the follow-up, Goldfly, owed much to the dedication of their fans, who traded live tapes on the Internet and some of whom worked as unpaid reps for the band. Guster's major-label debut, Gone and Lost Forever (Hybrid/Sire Records), was released in September of 1999 and spawned the chart-topping hits "Barrel of a Gun" and "Fa Fa".
Adam uses Acoustic Matrix pickup systems and Brian uses ADT-100 shell-mounted drum triggers.
