Grace Potter & The Nocturnals release new CD and hit the road with Fishman

Fishman artists Grace Potter & The Nocturnals released their fourth album "The Lion The Beast The Beat" on June 12. During the release, GPN ventured out on “Beast Week” where they appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America as well as late show staple Conan.  Fans of modern cooking shows no doubt caught Grace on ABC’s The Chew where she “mixed” it up with Rockstar chef Michael Symon. After the fun on The Chew, the band did a signing and an acoustic set at Best Buy in Union Square in New York City.  Last but certainly not least, the week was rounded up by a stunning performance on VH1’s Storytellers.  On Storytellers, the band performed new material like the “Never Go Back” and fan favorites like “Paris” and “Medicine.”

Grace Potter & The Nocturnals are currently on a US tour sharing the stage with her duet partner Kenny Chesney and country legend Tim McGraw.  On tour, Grace and the band had their acoustic guitars equipped with Fishman Matrix Infinity and Rare Earth pickups.  Aura Spectrum DIs made the journey on the road as well and proved to be a perfect match for the band's acoustic needs.

The summer of 2012 is will be one to remember for Grace Potter & The Nocturnals.  Fishman couldn’t be happier to be along for the ride… and The Beat!
