Congratulations to all the Fishman artists who won or were nominated for the 45th Annual Country Music Awards held at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood served as hosts for the fourth consecutive year. CMA award nominees are determined by votes cast by professional members of the Country Music Association.

Brad Paisley didn’t take home an award this year but was nominated for Entertainer Of The Year, Male Vocalist and Album of the Year for This Is Country Music. His duet with legendary country band Alabama was also nominated for Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year.

The big winners of the night were The Band Perry, who came on board this year as Fishman artists. The Band Perry won for New Artist of the Year, along with Single of the Year and Song of the Year for their hit “If I Die Young.”   Watch a video of The Band Perry performing “All Your Life” at the CMA Awards.

Upon winning Song of the Year, Kimberly Perry said “I truly believe that 'If I Die Young' would have been written with or without me. It just always felt like a song that was meant to be here. But I'll tell you this, I was so excited to have the pen and paper in hand when it was ready to come to earth."

Other Fishman artists that were nominated were the Zac Brown Band, Jerry Douglas, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts, and Sheryl Crow.

Fishman artist Grace Potter was nominated in three cateogories for "You and Tequila,” her duet with Kenny Chesney. The song won the award for Music Video of the Year and a live performance of the smash hit was a highlight of this year's awards show. In addition, "As She's Walking Away" by the Zac Brown Band and Alan Jackson was also nominated for Musical Event of the Year.

The Musician of the Year award went to Mac McAnally, who beat out fellow Fishman artist Jerry Douglas.
